Brazilian Hair Reduction with Broad Band Light

Summer is upon us and we are seeing many patients wanting The Brazilian Look to get rid of hair in their genital and anal areas. What better way to do this than to show you a start to end treatment of how we do it in the office with the amazing Sciton BBL. This Broad Band Light devic, which is technically not a laser, is one of the most comfortable devices around for hair reduction. Blasts of light produce heat in the hair shaft that kill the germinal cells under the skin. There are lots of other lasers that can succeed in the task but can be a bit more uncomfortable. Take a peek at this video. It is the real thing. It takes 4-6 of these treatments done once a month to get rid of 90-95% of darker hairs (browns and blacks).
