Large Volume Vampire Wing Lift with FemXHA

For the woman who loves the Full Body Look. I can do that.

The Vampire Wing Lift was invented by Charles Runels, MD, in Fairhope, Alabama. He deserves the credit for thinking of using platelet rich plasma with hyaluronic acid together for the use in the Labia Majora. He also invented the O-Shot, P-Shot, Vampire Facial, Vampire Face Lift, Vampire Breast Lift, and Clitoxin. This video is a bit different in that I purposely used a large volume of PRP and Hyaluronic Acid together to give a specific and full blown puffy look to the Labia Majora. This is how the patient wanted to look and it was part of her identity. I hope you enjoy the learning and subscribe to my Feminine Wellness Newsletter.

Enjoy this unique video. We do these treatments quite frequently in our office.

The Vampire Wing Lift Summary

The Vampire Wing Lift is a cosmetic procedure aimed at rejuvenating the labia majora, which are the outer lips of the vagina. Here's a comprehensive overview:

  • What is it?

    • The Vampire Wing Lift is a non-surgical procedure that uses a combination of the patient's own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. This treatment is designed to restore volume, firmness, and a more youthful appearance to the labia majora, which can become deflated or atrophied due to aging, childbirth, or other factors.

  • Who is it for?

    • This procedure is for women who are looking to enhance or rejuvenate the appearance of their labia majora. Candidates might include those who:

      • Experience sagging or loss of volume in the labia majora.

      • Desire a more youthful aesthetic in that area.

      • Are looking for non-surgical options for labial rejuvenation.

  • How is it done?

    • Preparation: A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, which is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the PRP, rich in growth factors, from other blood components.

    • Injection: The PRP is mixed with hyaluronic acid fillers. The area is numbed with a local anesthetic like lidocaine, and then the mixture is injected into the labia majora. This process stimulates collagen production, enhances blood flow, and adds volume, leading to a plumper, pinker appearance.

    • Procedure Time: Typically, it takes about 30 to 60 minutes, with minimal downtime. Most of the time is prep work and the injection time is 5 minutes.

  • What are the risks?

    • General Risks:

      • Infection or bleeding at the injection site, though these are minimized due to the use of the patient's own blood.

      • Bruising and Swelling: Common but temporary side effects.

      • Pain or Discomfort: Usually managed with local anesthesia during the procedure, but some discomfort might persist post-treatment.

      • Lumpiness in a few cases with granuloma formation

      • Duration of effect: Wears off too soon. This procedure is not “One and Done” and needs touch-ups at least yearly in most cases.

    • Specific to PRP and Fillers:

      • Allergic Reactions: Although rare, reactions to hyaluronic acid fillers can occur. Granulomas can form. Injections with Hyaluronidase may be needed to dissolve the lumpiness. On rare occasions the lumpiness that does not dissolve needs to be excised with minor surgery.

      • Asymmetry or Overcorrection: If too much filler is used, it might result in an unnatural appearance, though this can often be corrected.

      • Temporary Effects: The results are not permanent, typically lasting from 1 to 2 years, requiring repeat treatments.

  • Post-Procedure:

    • Patients can usually return to normal activities immediately, with some advising to avoid strenuous activities for a few days. The full effect of the procedure might be seen after a couple of months as the body responds to the PRP and filler. The original “overdone” look may last a few days then calms down and returns to a more normal but plumper appearance.

This procedure, while innovative, should be approached with a consultation with a qualified professional to discuss individual health conditions, expectations, and potential outcomes. Always consider the source of information, especially when it comes to cosmetic procedures, as individual experiences and medical advice can vary significantly. Only go to someone who does this every week!

I use the system called FemXHA for Vampire Wing Lifts. I developed this kit just for this procedure and it works. It is rapidly becoming the Standard worldwide. The newest version is FemXHA XL (stands for Cross-Linked) which is the longest acting filler for this procedure on the market. It is also the safest. I have taught many on how to do this.

I brought FemXHA into the market last year with a kit called FemXHA PRO. It was platelet rich plasma plus non cross-linked hyaluronic acid mixed together. Great results. Lasted about 6 months to a year. I then decided to extend the effects of treatments by using cross-linked hyaluronic acid and came out with FemXHA XL. This now can extend the results to 1-2 years. Great for vulvar plumping and Lichen Sclerosis. Easy to use. All in one kit.
The box has this kit. Each test tube has 3ml of cross-linked hyaluronic acid that has physical characteristics similar to Juvederm Voluma.
Beautiful and gorgeous PRP mixed with HA! Liquid Gold.
Before any treatments.
Injecting PRP + HA (platelet rich plasma + hyaluronic acid) into the Labia Majora.
Injecting even amounts on both sides.
Checking for lumps and symmetry.
Finishing up with the O-Shot.
Before Surgery, Immediately After Surgery, 8 weeks after surgery and FemXHA.
